What do the W1 to W5 grades mean?
They describe the clamp's corrosion resistance - W1 is zinc-plated steel, while W4 and W5 are fully stainless steel for harsher and marine environments.
Worm-drive or T-bolt clamps - which do I need?
Worm-drive (Jubilee-style) clamps suit general low and medium-pressure hose. T-bolt clamps give higher, more even clamping force for larger or higher-pressure hose.
What size clamp do I need?
Measure the outside diameter of the hose over the fitting and choose a clamp whose adjustment range brackets that diameter.
